Confessions of a HairStylist!

I sometimes wonder what separates the best from the mediocre! It comes to me when I complete that perfect consultation with that perfect client. I then follow through with the perfect service with the perfect flow of communication. The drive for perfection is more about the drive than the end result. So many times in our salons we forget about what we got int this business for. Most got into this business to be the best! Most clients come into our realm to receive that picture perfect look seen in the magazines, the movies, and even their dreams. Although unrealistic at times. I've found that our quest is the same and with communication our journey can come closer to perfection than we think. I leave you with this, communication! COMMUNICATION ! and more communication. It is the glue that holds perception to reality. To my stylists, communicate. To my loyal fans and friends, also known as clients, communicate. Together we can watch our industry change for the better!
